Feel free to Contact me to discuss details and pricing.  I have been painting commissions for over 15 years, with experience in a variety of sizes and subject matter and have developed paintings specifically for Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, Marc Benioff, Madeira Children's' Hospital, The Mayo Clinic, and other public sites. My paintings are bright, cheerful, and uplifting in places like hospitals and hospitality centers where people require an infusion of positivism combined with warmly human elements of play and joy. 

The most important part of commission work is the process of approval prior to working on the final full size piece.

• Define
  
  • Finding out about what makes your desire for a commission is the most important aspect of a painting. It is the groundwork and definition of what the painting will be based upon. For example, a family member, pet, moment in time like a wedding, or a life changing trip, can all be captured in a one of a kind commission piece.
• Sketch
  • I provide three to scale sketches that capture the desired elements in three different concepts. This allows us to refine anything prior to approval.
• Approve
  • Based on the sketches, the client will finalize the design and make a choice which best represents their hopes for a blend of their elements, along with my style, into one cohesive painting.

As with any custom work, prices will vary.  The design process involved in a commission adds approximately a 30% fee to the normal price range of a painting, simply due to the time spent collaborating. It is important to me to create a painting that makes your heart sing, and allows you to live with it for years to come. The more information that you can provide on what it is you are looking for, the better.  I really enjoy the process of doing commission work. It is my biggest honor as an artist to be invited into your life on a very personal note.
