Since I have been a small child, I have seen the world in Technicolor, and viewed the everyday happenings in my world as events worthy of documenting in my own way. These events become stories in my mind, which I mull over, and eventually become full blown paintings. I love the process of experiencing painting as a medium to re-connect to the world around me. It has a full circle sort of lifespan, from gestation, to creation, and ultimately to the final stages of release from my grasp….like raising children, I hope my paintings go out into the world, and encourage thought, emotion, and warmth. I wish for the paintings to live a full life of appreciation and mutual admiration.
